The decoration around the soundhole and the back and all the bindings of the instrument are made in brazilian tulipwood with di maple and ebony bindings.
The vibrating lenght is 86.4 cm (34").
The height of the ribs is 14 in the highest point, the body has a maximum width of 50 and lenght 61.
This particular instrument mount a fretless fingerboard with bone inlays.
the choice of the cedar for the soundboard is for a better response of the low frequencies, usually not so satisfying in the instruments esamined by us. The dimensions of the body, bigger than other basses, garantees high sound volume and a good expession on all the strings.
We mounted a piezoelectric pick up (B-Band technology).
